Total cost of ownership
The TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) or total cost of Ownership refers to all the costs associated with the use of a vehicle during its lifetime: acquisition, fuel, insurance, maintenance, taxation, claims, tolls, parking, etc.
In some companies, depending on the activity, the TCO of the car fleet may represent the second largest expense item after salaries. Optimizing TCO is therefore a major topic for all fleet managers.
The OPTIMUM car fleet management platform allows, via the “Fleet Management” service, to centralize and analyze all expenditure items. Enlightened by this valuable information, the car fleet manager can undertake optimization actions targeted at all cost items (acquisition methods, taxation, fuel, etc.).
