ZFE
One ZFE-m (Low Emission Mobility Zone) is an area in which vehicle traffic is conditioned according to their level of emissions of air pollutants, measured by the Crit'Air sticker system (ranging from 0 for electric vehicles to 5 for the most polluting). It is a geographical perimeter set up by local authorities to reduce air pollution by restricting access to the most polluting vehicles. This measure is particularly restrictive for businesses that find themselves (or will find themselves) with a driving ban for vehicles that do not comply with defined standards. The objectives of ZFEs are to fight effectively against air pollution and to force companies to transition their vehicle fleets to the energy transition. To support fleet managers in meeting this challenge, theelectrification study OPTIMUM delivers an operational roadmap dedicated to the energy migration of vehicles.
