A day punctuated by fascinating exchanges, technological discoveries and great meetings with key players in the sector.
The Flotauto show: a reference event for mobility professionals
The Flotauto show has become an unmissable event for players in professional mobility. Every year, manufacturers, publishers and service providers meet there to discuss the same objective: to accelerate the transition to more sustainable and connected mobility. The Lyon edition provided an opportunity to take stock of the major trends of the moment — digitalization, telematics, OEM innovations and fleet electrification.
The subject of electrification emerged as the common thread of this edition. An entire room was dedicated to charging solutions and services to support the energy transition.
However, despite the importance of the theme, the discussions showed that many managers are still in the process of reflection: while the desire to move towards electricity is there, issues related to autonomy, costs and infrastructure remain at the center of concerns.
Artificial intelligence: a potential that is still underexploited
An interesting observation also emerged: the discretion of AI in presentations and communications.
Where the DACH markets (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) already highlight AI applied to fleet management — for example for automatic damage recognition or predictive maintenance —, France seems to be adopting a more progressive approach.
Future editions should undoubtedly give more space to these promising innovations.
