On Thursday 4 July, the 29th edition of the Automobile & Enterprise Trophies was held at the Aéro-Club de France (Paris 16th). A ceremony rewarding the vehicles, services and benefits of the year which above all testified to the popularity of the French manufacturer Renault, crowned in numerous categories.

Like every year, the magazine The Automobile & The Business awards its Trophies to the best automotive products on the market, but also to the most innovative mobility and maintenance solutions or even to the most innovative BtoB networks according to a jury of 18 fleet managers.

This year, while the various podiums saw Actua Formation (winner of the Service of the Year award for its Connect Driver program), Wattsy (New mobilities and the environment for charging vehicles for all), Optimum Automotive (in maintenance/after-sales thanks to the intermediate inspection of vehicles) and Cupra City Garage Paris (for the Corporate Networks category) in pole position, however, the big winner of the evening was the Renault automotive group, present at the top of almost all rankings.

While the Acses Digital Care Service offer, i.e. a connected after-sales service for depositing keys and returning the vehicle 24/7 adopted by Renault, came in second place (ex-aequo with the e-bodybuilder Autogriff) in the Services of the Year list, it is especially in the Services of the Year list, it is especially in the Vehicle Trophies department that the Trophée du Losange brand won the most important bet.

For good reason: the group, represented that evening by its new director of sales and global operations at Renault, Ivan Segal, was in fact on the top step of half of the podiums (three out of six to be exact).

Thus, and although no other contender for the titles was undeserving, the Renault Scenic E-Tech was recognized as the most efficient 100% electric SUV for fleets ahead of the Peugeot e-3008 and the Volvo EX30.

In the combustion SUV category, it was the Renault Rafale E-Tech hybrid that won the majority of votes against the BMW X2 and... Renault Espace E-Tech hybrid!

Finally, the 100% electric LCV Renault Trafic Van E-Tech outperformed its cousin the Nissan Townstar EV L2 in their segment.

Manufacturer's favorite, the ultimate plebiscite

A hegemony, knowing that 21 vehicles from more than a dozen different brands were tested during the jury day, which made it possible to decide the winners, which proves that Renault was right with the modernization of its models, a recognizable aesthetic identity signed by the renowned designer Gilles Vidal.

Moreover, the group's offensive for new cars will continue next year with the advent of the R5 and the Symbioz, which has everything to be the future best-selling fleets.

Between the revival of iconic names (Espace, Scénic, R5, R4...) and capitalization on the development of unique but universally understandable appellations (like the Rafale or the Symbioz), the Losange thus manages, once again, to stand out on the national NV market.

To the point of doubling Stellantis in terms of volume for the month of June, even though the group has three times fewer brands.en.euronews.com+4auto-infos.fr+4renaultgroup.com+4

Illustrating the success of its “Renaulution” strategic plan, launched in January 2021, Renault Group also received the most important distinction of the 2024 A&E Trophies evening by being chosen as “Manufacturer's Favorite of the Year” by our jury of fleet managers, succeeding in fact Hyundai, winner in 2023.

Demonstrating rationality, for example by renouncing the IPO of its electric vehicle and software division Ampere, but also of commercial consistency by displaying rather attractive prices, proven technological performances, a pragmatic positioning in terms of vehicle weight or even expanded digital functionalities, in addition to delivery times that have become reasonable again after relatively uneasy post-Covid years, the Luca de Meo group was therefore able to convince by the rise in scope of its activities and above all of its almost completely renewed catalog.

The efforts and commitment of the teams were worth commending according to our park managers.
