Renault manages its embedded telematics with Optimum Automotive
With the rapid rise of connected vehicles, Optimum Automotive, a major player in French Tech specialized in vehicle fleet management, extends its expertise to manufacturers. Renault Group called on his services to integrate a solution of embedded telematics on all of its passenger vehicles (VP) and commercial vehicles (SUVs).
By the end of 2022, almost all of the manufacturer's production at the diamond will be equipped with this innovative technology, with the aim of facilitating the daily lives of fleet managers.
A native and efficient telematics solution
The solution, embodied by the IVC box, makes it possible to automatically wind up essential data for the fleet management : actual mileage, energy consumption, maintenance deadlines, battery status for electric vehicles, etc. Compatible with all engines, it is directly integrated into vehicles as soon as they leave the factory.
This data is used in customizable dashboards, designed by Optimum Automotive, allowing real-time supervision of the fleet, better forecasting of maintenance needs and optimizing TCO (total cost of ownership).
An integration into the Mobilize Fleet Data ecosystem
This partnership is fully in line with Renault's strategy via its platform. Mobilize Fleet Data. By becoming one of its strategic partners, Optimum Automotive is strengthening its presence in France and internationally, while strengthening its expertise in vehicle data.
Already marketed under the name of Mobilize Fleet Connect in several European countries, this solution is now natively integrated by Renault to offer companies a service of fleet management high level.
Two levels of service adapted to the needs of businesses
To meet the diversity of expectations, two offers are proposed:
- Connected Maintenance : delayed retrieval of data related to vehicle maintenance, with the possibility of adding modules such as the connection to theANTAI (for offenses) or tax optimization.
- Full Fleet : real-time access to data, including geolocation and the analysis of the driving behavior, for advanced cost and security management.
