Last April, the driving specialist Rousseau codes And the telematics specialist Optimum Automotive have joined forces with a common objective: to change the behavior of drivers in companies. Their aim is to make employees aware of the challenges of eco-driving and road safety, in particular through the e-learning platform EasyCoach by Codes Rousseau.
Optimum Automotive's platform already includes a service called ” Conduct analysis ” which makes it possible to identify risky behaviors such as sudden braking, sharp turns or violent accelerations. According to the results, an “eco-index” grade is assigned to each driver.
In addition, this platform offers an animation tool to create eco-driving challenges, motivating drivers to improve their practices. This driving diagnosis is then complemented by eco-driving training offered by Codes Rousseau.
Employees thus become actors in the company's responsibility for reducing CO2 emissions, reducing claims, as well as saving on maintenance and fuel. The EasyCoach platform contains seven customizable modules, each module containing about twenty questions. In total, employees have access to thirty multimedia courses spread over ten themes, ranging from rules of conduct to the prevention of road risks, including eco-responsible behavior.
At the same time, fleet managers receive emails from reports regular information on the progress and statistics of drivers. Finally, this “coaching” program on eco-driving ends with an assessment of knowledge and a validation of achievements at the end of the course. In concrete terms, a unit installed in the vehicle constantly measures the driving parameters of employees. According to Daniel Vassallucci, CEO of Optimum Automotive, this device makes it possible to empower drivers and contribute to the reduction of risks on the road.
