ADMR de la Vienne: more responsive fleet management

The ADMR de la Vienne, a home help network in rural areas, sees its car fleet increase from 550 vehicles in 2018 to 1000 by the end of 2024. Faced with this growth, the association has evolved its management tools to move from Excel to an integrated solution combining software and telematics, in order to improve the responsiveness and control of its fleet.

The professionalization of fleet management

ADMR associations, historically adept at compensating for mileage allowances, are increasingly adopting long-term rental (LLD) for their vehicles. This change brings new requirements in terms of management, in particular to ensure the safety of employees and facilitate their recruitment.

Optimum Automotive's choice for a suitable tool

ADMR in Vienna opted for the Optimum Automotive solution, selected after internal collaborative work and inspired by other ADMR users. This new tool replaces Excel tables, which caused too long delays in reporting data, especially mileages.

A renewed fleet equipped with telematics

The fleet is being renewed with Peugeot 208 Allures, 40% of which are micro-hybrids, supplied by Emil Frey. Unlike the old Renault Clios equipped at the factory, the new cars require the installation of telematic boxes, generating an additional cost to equip the 1000 vehicles.

Recruiting and setting up the new system

To manage this change, a fleet manager was recruited in early 2024. He is currently configuring the software to meet the specific requirements of ADMR in Vienna.

Prevention and optimization through data

Tracking fault codes will make it possible to better anticipate problems, such as tire pressure problems noted previously. La geolocation will not be used, but consumption analysis will make it possible to offer training to improve driving behavior.

Monitoring of traffic laws and claims management

The tool also facilitates the control of traffic laws, thus avoiding additional costs associated with rental contracts. Finally, it allows for better monitoring of claims, with information on the steps taken care of by garages.

This modernization and increased control of indicators are essential to support the continued growth of the ADMR fleet in Vienna.
