The telematics specialist Optimum Automotive offers an innovative solution to increase the electrical consumption of vehicles by combining the geolocation from the home of employees to monitoring the load of the vehicle.
Faced with the sensitive issue of transferring home charging data to businesses, Optimum Automotive provides companies with a new tool based on data transmitted by embedded telematics boxes. A defined home recharge within a radius of 100 meters
Thanks to the geolocation, Optimum Automotive considers all charges carried out by the vehicle within a radius of 100 meters around the employee's home as home recharges. The employee then communicates the kWh rate to allow the company to compensate for charging costs.
An automated TCO calculation
The fleet manager validates the refills. Once validated, Optimum Automotive automatically generates an invoice and the corresponding cost. These costs appear in the tracking of invoices and expenses on the Optimum Automotive management platform. They are then automatically integrated into the calculation of the total cost of ownership (TCO) of the vehicle and the fleet.
