Until the end of 2025, Europe Technologies relied on Excel to manage its fleet of 90 vehicles. From now on, the French industrial group will use Shiftmove's platform enriched with artificial intelligence, called Avrios, to digitize and optimize the management of its fleet.
With more than 30 years of expertise, Europe Technologies supports manufacturers from R&D to production in sectors such as aeronautics, naval, energy or even defense. To support its activities, the French industrial group connects on a fleet of 90 vehicles, composed of commercial and private vehicles, for acquisition and long-term rental.
Until the end of 2025, the management of this fleet was essentially based on bureaucratic tools. ”We managed our fleet with Excel, which presented us with several challenges: scattered, unupdated and unreliable data, the lack of a complete history of vehicles or claims, and a non-optimized calculation of benefits in kind (AEN) for company vehicles.“, explains Lilou Launay, manager of general resources and the vehicle fleet at Europe Technologies.
Telematics: the acquisition of Ocean propels Shiftmove to the top of the French market
Faced with this organization, which quickly showed its limits, the company launched a consultation with several fleet management software publishers at the end of 2025 in order to identify the solution most suited to its needs. The Europe Technologies Group finally selected the Shiftmove Avrios artificial intelligence-enriched platform Avrios to modernize and automate the management of its car fleet.
Smart fleet management
”I was immediately seduced by the ergonomics and ease of use of the Avrios solution. The functionalities enriched by artificial intelligence allow us to save precious time in the daily management of vehicles and drivers.“, explains Lilou Launay.
Thanks to built-in automation processes, the platform reduces the time spent on routine administrative and operational tasks by around 50%. Among the functionalities used, we find the import of invoices and the automatic assignment of costs, the calculation of the TCO per vehicle or by fleet, the management of assignments to subsidiaries and drivers, as well as the monitoring of claims.
After Optimum Automotive, Shiftmove Wants to Absorb Ocean
”These automations allow us to focus more on decisions and fleet management.“, underlines the general resources and vehicle fleet manager at Europe Technologies. Especially since the Avrios platform will soon be connected to Antai (National Agency for the Automated Processing of Offences), which will simplify the management of fines.
Finally, another expected evolution, Shiftmove will also connect its Avrios solution to its Optimum telematics platform. ”Thanks to Optimum's telematics data, in particular the repair of professional and private uses, we will be able to automate and make reliable the calculation of the benefits in kind of our company vehicles. This will allow us, when relevant, to opt for the actual reporting regime, with significant savings for the company as well as for employees.“, concludes Lilou Launay.
