Optimum Automotive joins the new telematics ecosystem Mobilize Fleet Data, proposed by Renault. All information related to the brand's vehicles now goes back to the Optimum Automotive platform, thus strengthening the connected management of car fleets on a European scale.
Renault's new telematics ecosystem, Mobilize Fleet Data, welcomes a major new partner: Optimum Automotive. After Geotab, it is now Optimum Automotive which announces the connection of its platform to the boxes installed in Renault vehicles.
Under the direction of Daniel Vassallucci, CEO of Optimum Automotive, it is specified that the new unit selected by Renault will equip almost all models in its range, including passenger cars (VP) and light commercial vehicles (LCV), regardless of their engine type: gasoline, diesel, electric or hybrid. This integration will be effective as of 2022.
This innovative equipment makes it possible to report back in real time or at a slight delay all essential vehicle data, such as odometer reading, fuel or electricity consumption, as well as maintenance alerts.
Thanks to this mass of information collected, Optimum Automotive offers two levels of service adapted to the needs of fleet managers:
- Connected Maintenance : This first level makes it possible to retrieve all the information related to vehicle maintenance on a slightly delayed basis. It offers complete visibility on the total cost of ownership (TCO) with the details of each expense item.
- Full Fleet : This advanced level also integrates vehicle geolocation as well as the analysis of user driving behavior, thus providing powerful tools to optimize fleet management.
Note that for electrified vehicles, the Renault box is capable of reporting specific data, such as the state of charge of the vehicle when not in use, as well as consumption and electric charging histories, offering optimized management of hybrid and electric vehicles.
