Inventory of vehicles

The inventory of a vehicle consists in checking its general condition when it is made available or returned, in particular in the context of a rental or management in a pool. It includes the inspection of the body, equipment, tires and the interior. Digitizing inventories allows better traceability, limits disputes, and facilitates the monitoring of damage or repair costs.

Intermediate inspections allow the fleet manager to know precisely the condition of each vehicle (body, interior, tires, etc.). Drivers are thus regularly (configurable frequency) invited to carry out, via the OPTIMUM CONNECT mobile application, a complete inventory of their vehicle. Equipped with the images, the fleet manager is then in a position to make the right decisions: insurance declaration, self-financed repair...

Keeping vehicles in perfect working condition makes it possible to extend their lifespan, to guarantee the safety of drivers but also to avoid return costs at the end of the rental contract.
