The emergence of electric and hybrid vehicles
The arrival of electric and hybrid cars in corporate fleets is pushing players to surround themselves with specialized service providers. Car policy, charging stations, maintenance, fuel card, fuel card, embedded telematics, data analysis and management tools: the entire fleet ecosystem is adapting to the energy transition.
Alphabet: a tool to manage CO₂ emissions
As part of a partnership with Plan A, a company specialized in ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) software, the rental company Alphabet offers its customers a tool for monitoring the CO₂ emissions of their car fleet.
Baptized Alphabet Carbon Manager, this tool allows managers to precisely measure the evolution of CO₂ emissions and to support the energy transition of their fleet. It also offers the possibility of developing reports comparisons with other fleets and to identify actions to improve their carbon footprint.
KDA calculates your “personal kilometers”
Finished the reports tedious journeys for drivers! The application KDA (Kuantic Digital Assistant) uses artificial intelligence to automatically classify personal and professional trips.
Offered by Kuantic, it saves time by eliminating paperwork and provides an accurate statement, useful in the event of a tax audit. KDA is not limited to tracking trips: it also helps to pilot the vehicle in a safer and more environmentally friendly way, by offering personalized tips to reduce the carbon footprint and fuel costs.
For managers, KDA offers a real-time overview of the state of the fleet, with eco-driving scores for each driver.
Optimum Automotive and its “Booster Plan”
Specialized for 17 years in fleet management and the mobility of employees, Optimum Automotive is approved by Renault and Stellantis, with access to data from other brands.
Thanks to the data collected via the telematics units installed in the vehicles (mileage, real consumption, alerts breakdowns, maintenance deadlines...), Optimum applies intelligent algorithms to propose plans to optimize costs and carbon footprint.
Faced with the need to reduce costs, the carbon footprint and migrate to electric power, managers can test the Booster Plan, demonstrating the direct economic impact of this solution.
Ocean: a new wave of telematics tools
The Ocean division of Orange Business Services, dedicated to telematics and fleet management, now offers a feature ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) allowing to estimate the precise time of arrival to be communicated to the end customer.
This solution responds to unplanned missions and allows the manager to identify the nearest agent for an urgent intervention. The end customer benefits from real-time visibility thanks to a tracking link sent by SMS.
Ocean has also enriched its tool with new data, in particular the distinction between Average time to connect to a terminal and Average effective recharge time. This offers better visibility on uses, for example to analyze to what extent a hybrid vehicle uses thermal energy rather than electric energy.
TotalEnergies develops carsharing
TotalEnergies continues to enrich its offer Mobility Business with a solution of Carsharing aimed at supporting fleets in their mobility and electrification policies.
This 100% digital carsharing module is based on shared boxes, an RFID badge reader, an access badge and a web portal dedicated to fleet management shared.
Businesses are thus invited to analyze the use of their vehicles to resize their fleet by using car sharing.
Bump analyzes the TCO recharging of fleets
Bump, operator of charging stations for electric vehicles, has developed a supervision platform to measure the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) recharge car fleets.
The charging cost, which still varies depending on the subscription and the network used, can be optimized: Bump estimates that it can reduce charging costs by 32% on average.
One Mobile app intended for drivers alerts the manager in real time in case of price overruns, analyzes average costs, and directs drivers to the cheapest stations nearby.
The platform also centralizes charging consumption at home, making it easier for employees to reimburse them.
