Shiftmove appoints Taco van der Leij CEO France
Shiftmove, specialist in fleet management, announces the appointment of Taco van der Leij as General Manager France and Senior International Vice President of Shiftmove.
With 15 years of experience in the fleet industry, including 6 years at the head of Webfleet Europe, the latter brings his expertise in setting up mobility operations. His arrival at Optimum and Shiftmove is a sign of a strategic change in the industry, one that leaves behind the hardware complexities of traditional telematics and adopts an approach to fleet optimization based on software and AI.
This appointment is part of the continuity of the transformation initiated by Shiftmove since the acquisition of Optimum Automotive in October 2024.
In France, Taco van der Leij takes over from Daniel Vassallucci, former CEO and founder of Optimum Automotive. He is called upon to play an essential role in the structuring of the organization and its expansion on the French market.
