The Aix-based company Optimum Automotive, specialized in connected solutions for fleet management Automobile, was bought by the German-Swiss group Shiftmove.
This merger gives birth to a major player in the European telematics market, with the ambition to become leader in the sector by 2027, by managing over 1 million vehicles.
A group with strong ambitions
Optimum Automotive, which operates in France, Portugal, Portugal, Spain and Africa, now includes 107 employees, 7,500 customers and more than 200,000 vehicles managed. With Shiftmove, the whole thing will count more than 350 employees, 18,000 customers and 550,000 vehicles under contract.
A new chapter opens for SMEs in Aix-en-Provence
Founded and managed by Daniel Vassallucci, Optimum Automotive is thus changing dimensions while remaining rooted in the South region. This acquisition marks a new stage in the development of its technological offerings and its international presence.
