A mandatory telematics box for accurate data feedback
To benefit from this automatic identification, vehicles must be equipped with a manufacturer telematics unit (official approval for the Stellantis and Renault groups) or a CAN (“Control Area Network”) box provided by Optimum Automotive. These devices allow the transmission of information on battery charge levels.
In addition, the fleet manager must provide the personal addresses of employees as well as the price per kWh communicated by them on the Optimum Automotive digital platform.
Centralize and simplify the management of claims
The fleet manager has access to a complete summary table of the refills carried out at home. It can filter data according to a given period of time, for example, to exclude vacation days, and validate or deny compensation claims. This centralization facilitates the individual follow-up of reimbursements and the transmission of information to administrative departments for payment processing.
